Just checking my phone bill. Guess which is the most expensive call? There's no overseas calls, but there are some to 0870 and 0845 numbers.

That works out at £1.47 per minute!
more expensive than voting for the latest dis functional moron on big brother, or boosting Simon Cowells coffers on Britain's got no talent. Even chat lines are cheaper than that.
The cost is supposed to be 58p per minute, so I guess there must be a connection charge hidden somewhere.
The BT version is 19p per minute. Give it a try: 118800
or use the bloody yellow pages!!!

I agree! If I absolutely have to dial a 118 number, I use 118365 as it’s only 50p per minute even from your mobile and online I use http://www.ukphonebook.com
There’s also an iPhone app iPhonebook that’s £2.99 but you get free directory enquiries searches for life.
